Feel the Music! launched a new program this spring at VISIONS! Renowned percussionists Bashiri Johnson and Gary Fritz taught weekly percussion workshops for the blind and visually impaired at VISIONS, engaging participants in rhythms and hand techniques. By the end of the workshop each participant could solo on their own drum! On Saturday, September 10, 2011, 3 pm, at Church of St. Paul the Apostle (60th and Columbus), NYC Master Chorale will perform a 9/11 Remembrance Concert with the Empire City Men’s Chorus.
