Feel the Music! brings songwriting workshops to the Lenox Hill Senior Center at St. Peter’s Church with renowned songwriting instructors Ina May Wool and Thomas Boyd.
This free songwriting workshop series starts Monday, Sept 13th and runs for 12 Mondays through November 29th. See dates below for specifics. Classes are held 10:45am-11:45am each week and culminate in a public concert on December 13th at 1pm.
Come and join this class where we’ll reach into our memories and get at the raw material of our own lives with writing prompts and games. As you tap into your personal history and imagination, your writing will gain power, depth, and color. Use what you find in this workshop to shape your songs, poems, stories, and memoirs in rich, new, and unexpected ways.
